Sam Short

My interest in History began my senior year of high school in 2012. The following year, upon starting college, I chose History as my major with the goal of teaching at the college level someday. After earning my BA in 2016 from Middle Tennessee State University, I began my MA at University College London the following year and graduated in 2018.

After working a few jobs after graduate school, I started adjunct teaching in 2019. Over the course of three years, I found work as an adjunct for a few different community colleges. In 2022, Motlow State Community College hired me as a full - time faculty member. My teaching experience has almost entirely been with the subject of American History.
